General Space: Facelifting A Premium Southbank Apartment

Posted on May 11, 2016 in Case Studies, General Space

And so they say that this apartment is one of the best in the luxurious area of Southbank. Primarily surrounded by office towers, Crown Casino and the Yarra River, the apartment is a gem in the South side of the city. Has been neglected for some time until finally a project to refurbish the apartment unit was started in early 2016 and was done in the second quarter of the year.

Here are some shots of the apartment before the facelift:

And after:

Modern, sleek and stylish were the desired outcome when we started the project. Since the apartment is being used for investment purposes, it was important to budget, estimate the return from its furnishing cost and plan well in the process of renovating the apartment. We especially source the products that we will use from local Melbourne shops and talents. One of them is the enthralling painting in the living room, which was a work of art by Sarah Brooke, a Melbourne artist we love for her dreamy and bold characters in her work. Sarah’s artwork uplifted the living room and ¬†soul to the space.

The bedrooms are filled with natural lighting, allowing darker colours to have a play in the room with a hint of pattern and entertaining accessories. Bedroom area is particularly important especially in businesses like accommodation because people want to see where they are going to sleep and it should win their heart.

This premium Melbourne apartment is a perfect example of how small details can change a lot of things in an apartment. Every apartment is a unique canvas that we can work on to emphasise the characters for it to shine. Facelifting an apartment does need a smart planning to ensure that we achieved the desired outcome. Every cost spent should be measurable, relevant and impactful so that every penny spent will worth the wonder.
